No Red Flags!

Someone give that thing a Burqa! UAF terror-gang hit by march ban.

I must confess that I have very nearly overdosed on Schadenfreude over the past few weeks, due mainly to the spectacle of a number of wretched henchmen from Britain's fastest shrinking political party being dragged through the courts for a variety of criminal and civil matters.

This horrid bunch have done so much harm to the nationalist movement and it is a relief to see that the convergence of catastrophes (to borrow a phrase) that they have brought about finally seems to be catching up with them.

The icing on my Schadenfreude-cake was the amusing news that the UAF Terror gang (you know, the one sponsored by Prime Minister David Cameron,) has been banned from marching in five London boroughs for the next 30 days, along with the EDL and all other political groups.

As Brendan O'Neill writes in the Telegraph:
Now, UAF has issued what must rank as one of the silliest political statements of the year so far. “We the undersigned welcome the banning of the racist English Defence League’s march through Tower Hamlets,” it says. “But we are appalled to discover that the Metropolitan Police are applying for a blanket ban on ALL marches across five London boroughs… It is our human right to peacefully march in Tower Hamlets.”

The irony of the above statement quite literally jumps from the page.

2+2=4

Here is an article I wrote that appeared on the English Democrats website recently.

1984

A recent newspaper article got me thinking about George Orwell's 1984, a book I read some years ago and to which I am often drawn.

1984 was published way back in 1949 and describes a future dystopian society in which even the most basic personal freedoms have been outlawed. The state is controlled by an oligarchic dictatorship with the omnipresent figurehead of Big Brother, an enduring symbol of state oppression and terror that has passed into modern vernacular.

The year 1984, in which this novel was set, came and went, and our society breathed a sigh of relief that Orwell's vision had not come to pass.

And it is true that much of Orwell's proposed future remains very much in the realm of fantasy. UK citizens rarely have their homes bugged by the state, or get taken away and tortured.

Yet Orwell was particularly prescient in his description of the way The Party censored the language of the people so as to prevent certain unwanted ideas from forming among the population. It is from 1984 that we have terms such as thoughtcrime, and memory hole; Orwell's memory hole was a literal hole in which forbidden documents were deposited, never to return.

Politicians from the Lib-Lab-Con cartel parties clearly take great inspiration from the hellish society portrayed in 1984. Think only of the way in which certain words and phrases are taboo in our modern society.

I'm sure we have all witnessed friends and colleagues who, realising that a particular conversation was going down a route that may culminate in some manner of thought crime, executed a crimestop and withdrew from the conversation or hastily attempted steer it down an approved path. This is done quite instinctively, so pervasive has been the metastasis of politically correctness in our society.

When one has read 1984, phrases such as the one that caused me to write this article can be better understood.

The phrase to which I refer is irregular migration. It seems that illegal immigration is to be consigned to the memory hole, and replaced with this new and improved Newspeak alternative.

'Irregular migration' is deemed a much better way to describe 'illegal immigration', I assume, because it serves to obscure the fact that entering the UK without permission - perhaps as a stowaway on a lorry - is still, technically, illegal.

The intention of removing the term 'illegal' is clearly to make this activity appeal less severe, to effectively decriminalise the offence, at least in spirit. I am sure that many of those who are currently considering entering the UK illegally will take the hint accordingly.

Perhaps the rioters of whom we have heard so much recently should be re-designated irregular demonstrators. That sounds much nicer than 'rioters' and really does show how sensitive we are to the feelings and human rights of the individuals who chose to go about their business in such a way.

And as for looters, aren't these fellow-citizens of our simply consumers who have decided to make their acquisitions in a way that some of us old-fashioned typed may deem 'irregular'. Perhaps looters should henceforth be labelled irregular consumers.

Once such activities have been decriminalised in this way, the organs of the state will finally be able to dedicate all their time and resources into the eradication of thought crime - a crime far more dangerous and subversive than the irregular activities described above.

As English Democrats - members of a political party - it is our job to win power; we are not a philosophical debating society. Consequently, the language we employ must be understood by everyone we wish to reach and our message must be presented in a way that people are used to, can relate to and empathise with.

Nevertheless, our party remain firmly rooted in the English traditions of robust free speech and democracy and we will always reserve the right to call a spade a spade.

For however much our opponents may insist otherwise, two plus two will always equal four.

The English Democrats and Immigration

The English Democrats have a very sensible immigration policy which can be viewed online in the party manifesto here.

A new article on our website discusses the problems associated with the mass immigration policies pursued by successive Tory and Labour administrations during the past decades. It also outlines our proposed solutions.

The Quran and Science

I have just been made aware of this excellent Youtube channel, which describes itself as follows:

The Islam Miracle channel is an account devoted to debunking all the claimed 'miracles of the Quran' as proposed by Prominent Islamic con-artists using verifiable historical and scientific evidence.

We also deal with debunking the most prominent Islamic speakers themselves and all arguments for Islam and against non-belief.

Our goal is to demonstrate the reality of the situation to both believers and non-believers in regards to the Islamic Faith, that the Quran has no Miraculous knowledge, that the 'divine origins' claim of the Quran is False and that there truly are no legitimate arguments in favor of a conservative Islamic-belief system that can't be easily debunked or refuted.

Each of these concise videos deals with a single issue.

Taken together they provide a wealth of information that will be useful to anyone seeking to defend reason and critical thinking in our increasingly irrational and politically-correct society.

Help us make St. George's Day a Bank Holiday!

Who could possibly disagree with making St. George's Day a Bank Holiday?

This is a cause which is gaining more vocal support with each passing year, and it is the subject of a major English Democrats campaign which has been relaunched today.

As this article states:

Every year the call for St George's Day to be made a national holiday has grown stronger. Individuals and communities have started arranging St George's Day celebrations and the numbers doing so have risen each year. Yet the establishment politicians still choose to ignore our Patron Saint's day.

The English Democrats are going to make sure that the politicians sit up and listen! We have launched our Campaign to Make St George's Day a National Holiday. We are now collecting signatures for a petition to Parliament.

If we can collect 100,000 signatures we can force a debate on the issue in Westminster. By doing your bit and signing our petition you can help put pressure on the government to listen to the voice of the English people.

You can sign out petition by clicking here.

You can read the full article here.

This is an exciting project and I would ask you all to sign this petition and do all you can to promote this campaign.

The English Democrats are leading the way on this issue and we need your support!

Thank you all in advance.

Happy Birthday Marie-Rose Morel

Vlaams Belang MEP Frank Vanhecke posted the following heart-felt message on his blog today:

Today would have been Marie-Rose's 39th birthday.

Around our wedding picture in the living room of our apartment there are lots of cards and messages from people who had not yet forgotten her. And today's post is not here yet.

I know there is much sorrow in the world and that every day people say goodbye to loved ones, but it also comforts me that it is not just in my heart that Marie-Rose lives on.

Together with Koen Dillen and other friends in recent weeks we have worked hard on the biography dedicated to Rose that will appear in the autumn. I think it will be something truly beautiful.

And earlier, in mid-September, the oncology wellness-centre "A Touch of Rose" will open in Bornem. It is good that we are thereby able not only to deal with our own grief process but also to achieve something concrete to help other cancer patients.

In addition to the proceeds of her first two books, the full proceeds of her forthcoming children's book "Alexander Marnix, and the Citizen-Wolf" (previously published by Dag Allemaal magazine as 27 weekly episodes) will be going to charity.

From Monday the normal work of the European Parliament starts again - then we will update this blog on a more regular basis.

Thanks for your friendship and your loyalty.

Fairness for English Students!

A new article on the English Democrats website addresses the problem of anti-English discrimination in the field of students tuition fees.

The article explains:

The English Democrats are the only party campaigning to stop anti-English Discrimination where ever it rears its ugly head. The issue of English students being foreced to pay tuiton fees simply because they are English is one of the most blatent acts of anti-English Discrimination to date.

The best way to ensure that things like this do not happen is by helping the English Democrats to campaign for real devolved power for England. By ensuring England has its own Parliament and own elected representatives, England would have its own voice to ensure English matters were dealt with properly and that our interests were put first.

You can sign our petition for an English Parliament by clicking here.

You can also help the English Democrats by donating today. By making a donation ot the English Democrats you can help build a party that wants to return power to the English people and ensure that English interests are always put first! You can donate by clicking here.

Out Today: Conan the Barbarian

The release of Conan the Barbarian in cinemas across the UK may inspire some to check out the original Conan novels, which have been brought together for the modern reader in The Complete Chronicles of Conan: Centenary Edition.

Conan was created by American author Robert E. Howard (1906-1936) and is viewed as a continuation of the revival of heroic Western literature that was seen in the mid Eighteeth Century (e.g. with William Morris's translation of Völsunga Saga: the story of the Volsungs [and] Niblungs, with certain songs from the Elder Edda;) and continued through to the creations of Tolkien and beyond.

Enjoy the film if you go an see it, and whether you do or not, you might want to check out the novels here:

100% cotton England Rugby T-shirt with rugby ball, flag and rose of England logo on the front along with "The Bruisers of England " quotation. On the back is the full "On, on, you noblest English" quotation by Shakespeare along with a small St George Cross.

The full quotation on the front design is -
Let no one sneer at the bruisers of England - What were the gladiators of Rome or the bull fighters of Spain, in its palmist days, compared to England's bruisers?- George Borrow (1803-1881) - English Writer

You can see the back print by clicking here.

The full quotation on the back design is -
"Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more;
Or close the wall up with our English dead!
In peace there's nothing so becomes a man
As modest stillness and humility:
But when the blast of war blows in our ears,
Then imitate the action of the tiger;
Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood,
Disguise fair nature with hard favoured rage;
Then lend the eye a terrible aspect.
On, on you noblest English!
Whose blood is fet from fathers of war-proof;
Fathers that, like so many Alexanders,
Have in these parts from morn till even fought,
And sheathed their swords for lack of argument.
And you, good yeomen,
Whose limbs were made in England, show us here the mettle of your pasture.
I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit; and upon this charge
Cry "God for Harry! England and Saint George".

Newspeak Rules

I have written an article for the English Democrats website which is now online here.

It is based on the manipulation of language employed by undemocratic regimes with the intention of stifling free thought and debate.

I refer throughout to themes and terminology taken from George Orwell's 1984, which is a fantastic novel that I recommend wholeheartedly.

Please link to the article above and leave a comment on the site letting me know what you thought.

Thank you!

Vlaams Belang and Facebook

An article on the Vlaams Belang website reports that the VB now has the most popular Facebook of all Belgian parties, with 8931 followers as I write this.

Are such things important?

Considering the number of people who use such social media sites I would say that they certainly are, though it seems the popularity of Facebook itself may have peaked.

A good web presence is even more important for small political parties as we cannot rely on the mainstream media to report on our activities in the same way as the bigger parties can.

Today we take it for granted that anyone wanting to look up information on a political party can simply 'google' the party in question and get straight to their website, but it was not always so.

The coming of internet age has done more to break down the barriers to entry of our national politics than any other factor in living memory, and we should do everything we can to take advantage of this development.

With that in mind, let's help our Flemish friends reach over 9000 Facebook supporters by all supporting their page here.

Dr Starkey Responds to Hate Campaign

Robin Tilbrook's blog has reproduced in full the Telegraph article in which Dr David Starkey responds to the politically correct furore that has ensued following his recent Newsnight appearance.

It is delightful to note that he remains defiant in the face of such despicable bully-boy tactics.

Good for him!

David Starkey - English Historian and Thought Criminal

I've been pretty sickened by the witch hunt unleashed against historian David Starkey since he committed a thought crime on Newsnight last week.

I have always been hugely impressed by him whenever I have seen him on TV, though I must confess that I have not, as yet, read any of his books.

It would be delightful to see his works receive a huge sales boost even as the politically correct establishent is setting out to malign him.

In that spirit, here is a link to his latest book, which seems as good a place to start as any:

Alleged Journalists Incite Violence Claim

The following article caught my eye.

The Prison Planet website is reporting that alleged journalists have been offering youths in Leicester money to cause trouble last night.

I certainly would not put such behaviour beyond UK-based journalists, particularly those of the tabloid variety.

I despise the tabloid press. Moronic rags like the Sun and Mirror have no place in a civilised society. (This probably explains their popularity in modern Britain.)

The riots have certainly served to detract attention from the last big new story (aside from the US credit-rating downgrade), namely the exposure of the immoral and downright illegal information-gathering activities of the gutter press.

I was overjoyed at the demise of the News of the World, and I would love to see the aforementioned rags go the same way.

I don't know if there is any truth in the claims made in the above article, but the issue certainly merits further investigation.

p.s. check this guy out. Don't you think he looks like the sort of creature that might have been handing out the leaflets I wrote about yesterday? Just a thought!

Exclusive: Leaflet Hints at Extreme-Left Involvement in Riots

Like any civilised Englishman I have been utterly sickened by the footage and reports of the riots that have plagued various parts of the country over the past few days.

As infuriating as the sight of marauding rioting gangs may be, even worse to my mind have been the images of individual victims, who have ended up on the receiving end of such barbarism.

Inevitably much has been written about the events of the past few days. I would recommend reading the two articles written by Eddy Butler on this subject which can be found here and here.

Also worth reading is an article by Robin Tilbrook here and an excellent piece by Derek Turner here.

The above image was passed onto me today which shows a leaflet containing hints and tips for Tottenham rioters to help them avoid arrest and prosecution.

The appearance of such leaflets hints at significant extreme-left/anarchist involvement in this wave of violence.

This will come as little surprise to seasoned nationalists, who are quite familiar with the propensity of the far left to rally to any cause or activity that causes harm to our country, be it an ideological issue or simply criminal activity such as this.

Nationalists stand for law and order, for beauty and culture. Our opponents on the extreme-left desire chaos, degeneracy, and the death of all that we hold dear.

My heart goes out to all the victims of this violence, and I sincerely hope that all those responsible are brought to justice - from the thugs on the streets to the traitors in Westminster who have dragged our country to such depths.

Eddy Butler Joins English Democrats

I am delighted to be able to report that my fellow parliamentary researcher and good friend Eddy Butler is joining the English Democrats.

He has written about this in an excellent new article on his blog here.

Eddy is arguably the leading expert on electioneering that nationalism has ever had, personally delivering a number of historic victories and devising a campaign strategy that provides those who use it with the best possible chance of victory.

I am sure that Eddy will be able to help our party win more seats in the coming months and years, to add to those won in the local elections in May.

Happy Yorkshire Day!

1st August is Yorkshire Day! The website of the Yorkshire Ridings Society contains a wealth of information this celebration and various other Yorkshire-related matters, which every Yorkshireman and woman should know.

Blog Off

The nationalist blogosphere can be a fairly uninspirational place if I am honest but one of the very best blogs out there is the blog of my fellow European Parliament researcher and long-standing nationalist Eddy Butler.

In this recent article Eddy describes how the nationalist movement is always at least fifteen years behind the times.

This got me thinking.

Assuming this is an accurate assessment, and I should state here that I do broadly share his views on this matter, this fact in itself has ensured that nationalism has never posed any real threat to the cartel parties in our country.

Furthermore, the only chance we have is if this 15 year gap is closed completely so that we are fully in tune with the times in which we live.

That sounds fine in principle, but what does this mean in practice?

I would argue that this means rejecting anything that sounds cranky, out-dated, and alien to the hopes and aspirations of the average voter of today.

Does this mean selling out and ending up looking the same as our counterparts in the Lib-Lab-Con parties?

Certainly not, but making nationalism relevant to today's electorate required self-confidence and an open-mindedness to new ideas and new ways of doing things which some may find distasteful but are nevertheless vital in order that the cause of nationalism progresses.

I just received a photocopy of an article in (I think the latest issue of) Searchlight about my joining the English Democrats. I found the article fascinating and encouraging in a number of ways.

The article contains a number of absolute fabrications and is clearly just a description of how Searchlight hopes things turn out for me and others who have joined the English Democrats, rather than how things actually are.

As we all know, Searchlight do not like to let the truth get in the way of a smear story.

The article as a whole has proven to me that Searchlight are obviously horrified at the prospect of nationalists doing things in a more sensible way as if this happens then our country too could produce a nationalist party that enjoys similar levels of support to those enjoyed by patriotic parties across Europe such as the Austrian Freedom Party, Danish People's Party, Front National et al.

Searchlight despise such parties but can at least take solace from the fact that there is no British or English equivalent. The closest counterpart they can currently find is Nick Griffin's BNP, now officially Britain's fastest shrinking political party, whose leader and his vile henchmen seem determined to wipe the BNP off the electoral map more comprehensively than the external enemies of nationalism could ever have dreamt of doing.

But Searchlight realise that if patriots in Britain, and in England in particular, were to get their acts together then there would be at least as much potential for the electoral growth of nationalism here as there are in the host countries of the parties mentioned above.

Then the wretched anti-English hatemongers at Searchlight would really have their hands full.
